Back Parlor

Welcome to Poplar Grove!

Poplar Grove is currently closed for the off season. Saturday tours will resume in February 2020. Please see below for pre- and post-season hours of operation.

The Manor House and outbuildings are under the auspices of Poplar Grove Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit. All funds generated through Manor House tours, school programs, Farmers’ Market vendor fees, rental facilities, and festivals provide the revenue to maintain and preserve the historic Manor House, outbuildings, heritage art exhibits, artist studios, pastures and stables.

Entrance for our property is on the South side of the Manor House, where the Farmers’ Market and Poplar Grove Entrance signs are posted.  If you drive past the Manor House, you have gone too far.

Thank you for supporting our conservation, education, and preservation efforts.

HOURS OF OPERATION

Closed on Tuesdays, Sundays, and the month of January.

We make every effort to provide guided tours of the Manor House; however, there are occasions when staffing or volunteer hours are limited and self-guided tours are the only option to view the house. Self-guided tours are at a reduced rate, and scheduled times are dependent upon guided tour operations.

Appointments for weddings and receptions can still be made by contacting chrissy@poplargrove.org. For school program tour bookings, please email felicia@poplargrove.org.

October features 12 evenings of paranormal tours; therefore we will be closed on Saturdays until evening paranormal tours begin. If your plans to visit are limited to a weekend opportunity, consider making arrangements for a Friday or Saturday evening tour (see below for scheduling). A history of the house and family is provided for context of the collective paranormal experiences of staff and visitors over the years.
