Caroline C. Lewis, Executive Director, implements Poplar Grove Foundation Inc.’s mission of conversation, education, and preservation in all areas of the historic site’s operations. She also oversees research efforts, tour content, website content, and the community service program. She has a MFA for Poets and Writers from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Suzette Cooper, Event Director, coordinates the weekly Farmers’ Market and annual fund-raising events, such as the Herb & Garden Fair and Fall Festival. She juries the fine and heritage art components of these events. She has a BFA from Ontario College of Art and Design.
Emily McInerney, Program Director, manages daily tours, ghost tours, school programs, exhibits, docents, and internships. She has a Masters in History with a concentration in Historical Administration from Eastern Illinois University.
Betha Knight, Stables Manager, supervises stable operations, its volunteer program, and its social media platform. She also orchestrates fund-raising efforts to support the Equine Foster Program. She has a Bachelors in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
