COVID 19 Protocols

POPLAR GROVE WILL TAKE NECESSARY STEPS TO CREATE A SAFE AND EFFICIENT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE. PLEASE REFERENCE NC PHASE 3 GUIDELINES.

TO HELP MINIMIZE THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 DURING PHASE 3 STAYING AHEAD OF THE CURVETHE FOLLOWING SAFETY PROTOCOLS INCLUDE:

1) PREPAID TICKETS AVAILABLE ONLINE WITH A SEPARATELY MARKED ENTRANCE BETWEEN PREPAID & DAY OF EVENTS TICKET PURCHASES.

2) ONE WAY EXIT WILL BE CLEARLY MARKED. 

3) GUESTS ARE ASKED TO FORM A LINE OUTSIDE THE ENTRY GATE AND WAIT 6 FT. APART WITHIN THEIR FAMILY GROUPS.

4) GUESTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO WEAR FACE MASKS WHEN SOCIAL DISTANCING IS DIFFICULT.

a) Masks required at main entrance, inside vendor tents, inside all buildings and while inside restroom facilities

5) GUESTS ARE ASKED TO PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES OF AT LEAST SIX FEET BETWEEN INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILY GROUPS.

6) CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AND REMAIN WITH FAMILY GROUPS.

7) VENDOR BOOTHS WILL BE SPACED APPROXIMATELY 4 FT. APART.

8) POPLAR GROVE WILL PROVIDE HAND-SANITIZING STATIONS THROUGHOUT THE MARKET AREA.

9) VENDORS AND STAFF ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR FACE MASKS DURING MARKET HOURS OF OPERATION.

10) VENDORS ARE REQUIRED TO USE HAND-SANITIZER BEFORE/AFTER EACH TRANSACTION.

11) ALL VENDORS SELLING FOOD ITEMS MUST HAVE FOOD IN INDIVIDUALLY SEALED CONTAINERS.

a) Guests are asked not to touch or examine food items for sale

12) IF YOU ARE SICK, OR SUSPECT YOU ARE SICK, OR BEEN EXPOSED TO SOMEONE WITH COVID-19, PLEASE STAY HOME.

13) THE MARKET MANAGER HAS CLEARLY COMMUNICATED THESE PROTOCOLS TO ALL VENDORS PRIOR TO OPENING DAY.

14) CLEARLY MARKED SIGNAGE AT THE MARKET WILL ALERT CUSTOMERS TO THE ABOVE PROTOCOLS.
